Each year, the Summerland Chamber of Commerce hosts the Business and Community Excellence Awards, an annual event that recognizes a handful of businesses and community organizations that support and enhance life in Summerland. During this year’s gala, more than 60 nominees and business leaders gathered to celebrate 15 Business Award recipients, 3 Community Award recipients and the Mayor’s Award of Excellence recipient. Though the “Denim and Diamonds” theme kept the events of the evening fun and casual, the competition was exhilarating.
At the end of the evening, Hunters Hill was proud to receive the Environment and Sustainability Excellence Award, an accolade that recognizes our commitment to incorporating sustainability principles into our business planning and development practices.
We’re honored to receive this award from our business community and appreciate the Chamber of Commerce for recognizing our efforts to create a community that is mindful of our local ecosystems.
