Blossoms are better in a small town, beaches are best in a small town, and biking is great along the quiet country roads of a
small town full of orchards & vineyards.
Welcome to Summerland, just off the hiway between Kelowna and Penticton, and across the lake from Naramata.
Summerland is cherished for its natural beauty and small town atmosphere. Farmers markets, car shows, parades, festivals and sporting events are the perfect opportunities to stroll downtown and catch up with friends, new and old. The Okanagan Valley's "Finest Main Street" is the place to be for quaint shops & welcoming restaurants.
Summerland is defined by an absence of traffic & crowds. With a strong sense of community and friendly welcoming locals, it is a place where agriculture is the primary industry, and tourism a close cousin.
Summerland's meandering country roads call out for long walks, jogging or bike rides bounded by orchards, vineyards, farms and roadside stands.
Its time… to own your place in the Okanagan!

Unisus International School has plans to open a dormitory for 100 students on the site of the Summerland private school set to open next fall. In August, Summerland Council voted to re-zone the property to accommodate the project.
The school will accommodate students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 9. The Unisus Website describes the Summerland campus as a unique location to learn and grow. The 17 acre campus is located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley where students can enjoy hiking, biking, water activities during the summer and skiing during the winter. With four distinct seasons, the comprehensive athletics program takes full advantage of natural surroundings.
Summerland is a fantastic location for this International School. More information can be found at www.unisus.ca
